Coiled Open Wound Rotary brushes are manufactured by winding a straight metal back strip brush around a core construction at an open wound pitch. The larger winding pitch produces a less dense brush that can conform better to the surface being brushed, while efficiently moving loose product. The open wound, unmounted brush coil can be provided to you to mount onto your existing equipment or we can coil and assemble the brush coil directly onto any solid shaft or tubular shaft designed and machined specifically for your application.

We can design and produce a Coil Open Wound Rotary Brush at any desired pitch, wound right or left hand and diameter using one of our eight metal back strip sizes capable of coiling and any type of filament. We also refurbish worn coil brushes on an existing core or shaft to provide extended value. Dynamic balancing can also be provided for fixed rotation speed or other working conditions in your application, as needed.

Coiled Open Wound Rotary brushes are used for many applications including conveyor cleaning, glass washing, printed circuit board scrubbing, vegetable and fruit washing, sheet metal polishing and conditioning, cleaning trammel screens, buffing leather hides and moving product in a given direction. We provide innovative rotary brush solutions for many industries including the printing and metal finishing industries, food processing and agriculture industry and for material handling.
