Brass Strip Brushes #4

Our Crimped Brass Strip brushes are manufactured by securing densely packed crimped brass filament into a #4 (.194” w x .205” h) stainless steel backing. Brass filament is a non-ferrous, corrosion resistant, softer wire with high conductivity.

We have 40 standard brushes with three diameters, five trim lengths and one-to-eight feet in overall length. Other overall trims, overall lengths and fill materials are available upon request and our engineers can help recommend or design the right brush for your special application.

Brass Strip brushes are used for applications requiring a corrosion resistant and softer wire such as cleaning scratch-susceptible surfaces. They are also used for reducing heavy static in concentrated areas and for use during a plating process.

Stainless steel backing is used in corrosive environments. Brass strip brushes are suitable for static reduction and for operating temperatures up to 300° F.
