Employee Code Of Conduct

Behaving ethically and being true to our words is a core value of Tanis. Integrity will never be compromised.

Tanis specifically prohibits offering, promising, making, requesting or accepting or agreeing to accept any payments or favors that might be considered improper or illegal.

Those who help safeguard our integrity have the full support of Tanis leadership. Tanis upholds a firm promise of non-retaliation for those who, in good faith, report violations or suspected violations.

Conflict Minerals

Tanis is committed to sourcing materials from companies that share our values. We expect our suppliers to comply with conflict free sourcing.

Today, 100% of Tanis products do not contain the refined metals of tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold from areas that contribute to human rights atrocities.

Human Rights

Tanis is committed to consistently treating employees with respect, fairness and dignity. Tanis considers harassment, discrimination and retaliation to be unjust and damaging to our work environment and therefore not tolerated.

Tanis provides compensation and benefits that are competitive and comply with all applicable laws.

Tanis supports, encourages and values a diverse, multi-cultural workforce.

Tanis is opposed to slavery, human trafficking and the use of forced labor of any kind. Also, Tanis does not support the use of child labor or anyone under the minimum work age.

Data Privacy

At Tanis Incorporated, we believe it is our responsibility to safeguard the information of our employees, customers and other business partners.

We have established the following privacy policy to ensure that personal and confidential information is handled and stored in a secure manner.

• Tanis does not sell nonpublic customer information to third parties.
• Tanis restricts access to nonpublic information to individuals that have a need to know information to provide services on behalf of Tanis.
• Tanis continually strives to maintain complete and accurate information about its employees, customers and other business partners. If you believe our records contain inaccurate or incomplete information about you, please let Tanis know immediately. We will process any corrections or additions as quickly as possible.

Fair Competition

Tanis has a zero tolerance policy for bribery and corruption. Tanis will not offer, pay, solicit or accept bribes, kickbacks or other advantage.

We comply with competition and anti-trust laws. Tanis will not enter into discussion or agreements with competitors that undermine fair competition.

Tanis Representatives

Representatives and distributor appointed by Tanis are monitored carefully. Representatives must comply with the Tanis Governance Principles as well as all applicable laws and regulations where they operate.

International Trade Compliance

Tanis conducts its business in full accordance with all legal requirements and relevant sanctions for the import and export of goods in which we operate.

Political Contributions

Tanis does not use any company funds to make direct or indirect political contributions to candidates in any country in which we do business even if allowed by law. Tanis will utilize political action committees (PAC) to participate in the political process.

Employees are not reimbursed directly or through compensation increases for personal political contributions or expenses. Tanis does not pressure employees to make personal political expenditures.

Tanis also prohibits employees from giving or offering any government official anything of value in order to influence their official conduct or to give a government official anything of value to thank them for specific official actions that they may perform.

Counterfeit Products

Tanis will purchase product from qualified suppliers. Received parts are monitored for signs of unauthorized sources or modified.
