Silicon Carbide is a tried-and-true filament in the brush industry and performs well in deburring and finishing applications, leaving a smoother finish while getting the job done right.
Designed for use in tubular component parts, drilled and tapered holes. Best suited for internal deburring and finishing applications in CNC machine tools, drill presses and manual machine tools. Comes standard with a galvanized stem and cut off end. Overall lengths from 4” to 5-1/2”. Grits range from more aggressive at 80 grit up to 320 grit for less aggressive action or smaller burr removal.
Built with a high filament concentration for heavy burr removal and can be used in wet and dry applications. Aids in reducing cycle times in cross hole deburring, cleaning threads, debris removal from blocks or machined blocks, crankshaft bores and general deburring. Comes with a single stem and continuous end. Overall length options range from 3-1/2” to 5-1/2”.
